Her father is her hero; he taught her to fly.

But he also has a powerful agenda, and a broken heart. Grief is an unpredictable thing. It makes slaves of its victims. Alex doesn’t know if his pain will ever heal enough to let him love again.
In a last-ditch effort to find peace, he’s going to trace the route his father took in 1988, when he disappeared in this rugged and dangerous territory, never to be heard from again.
All Alex has of his father is a series of letters his mother received all those years ago a battered knapsack turns up at the police station. And with it, Alex learns that Ivy’s father has been less than honest.
The large Pierce family owns and operates Raven Lodge, and as with all close-knit families, secrets and lies abound, including the vital information Alex is searching for.
The attraction between Ivy and Alex grows stronger every day, but so do their reservations.
Families, complications, broken hearts, and danger.
Is there space and time enough for love to grow?

3. FOLLOW A WILD HEART
A CITY GUY, A COUNTRY GAL, AND A MOOSE
A different kind of Western romantic adventure. Sex in the City, it’s not!
Log scaler Karena Carlson lives off the grid in the Minnesota back woods with her son, Danny, and his mischievous pet moose calf, Mortimer.
Logan Baxter spots her winning the log rolling competition at the timber show and is instantly smitten. Logan is single, social, and fond of things like electricity, indoor plumbing and gas heat.
Karena dislikes cities, crowds, and strangers. Her mantra is chop wood, carry water. Can she afford to let Logan into her heart, and her life? And how can a stubborn 12-year-old boy and a capricious moose calf addicted to exhaust fumes help love find a way?
Danny adores Mortimer, but to call the moose calf a mischief would be the understatement of the century. And Mortimer is growing, which for a moose, means huge. And when moose hormones kick in, it could also mean danger; moose have been known to attack trains when the love bug bites. She loves her son, she loves his moose, she loves her way of life. But none of them will easily transport to the city if she falls in love with Logan. What’s Karena to do?

Author Interview
Moose and Romance? How did you come up with that combination?
I have a friend–there’s nothing like having a friend when you’re a writer. Anyway, she used to be a log scaler in B.C.s backwoods. And one summer the loggers found a newborn moose and gave it to her for a pet. That story didn’t have a happy ending, so I dreamed one up.
Favorite character?
Mortimer, of course. How can you not love a capricious, gas sniffing, voracious young moose?? I hope you fall for him like I have.

Love of a Rodeo Man
How does a cowboy make a transition from rodeo hero to rancher?
How does a man learn to live with the fact that he’s been sentenced to one sort of life when his body and soul still wants the rodeo life?
Sara Wingate has just graduated as a vet and landed a job in the small town of Plains, Montana, where her family live. She’s come home at last, and she’s beyond happy with her new life.
Mitch Carter has given up his rodeo life also come home to be his father’s right-hand man on the Carter Ranch, but his heart’s still back at the rodeo.
Mitch and Sara meet in a pen full of pigs, not the most romantic of meetings. But Mitch soon knows she’s the one for him. Problem is, can he compete with the demands of her career?
Sara loves the rodeo cowboy – but will he be content away from the Broncos and bulls?
IF YOU LOVE RODEO, AND WESTERN ROMANCE, this is the book for you!

Quinn has no illusions about fairytale romances or a woman’s ability to subdue unruly miners.
Chris knows she can rely on her wit rather than strength.
The conflict and the intoxicating chemistry simmer between them as winter begins its long dark night.
It takes death to prove that love can find a way.
